Eva Longoria is at it again. Deadline has reported that Longoria’s production company, UnbeliEVAble Entertainment (isn’t she clever?) has sold a half-hour spot to comedian Erik Rivera.
The comedy, currently untitled, will be loosely based on Rivera’s personal life and career and vaguely modeled after “The George Lopez Show”. The show will air on NBC. Writer Peter Murietta of Welcome to the Family is said to be onboard with the project as well.
Rivera is half Puerto Rican and half Guatemalan, and grew up outside of New York city in a predominately white community.
Longoria has also reportedly sold a new soap opera to Lifetime.
