William Levy is taking on a new role: the Cuban actor is slated to star in an upcoming sci-fi adventure movie called The Veil. Levy will be playing the part of a deadly warrior executing a ruinous campaign in a war-torn region split into tribal factions.
William Moseley and Serinda Swan are also on the credits for the film.
“I have dreamed of doing a role like this since I was a kid. The character….is so layered,” Levy said. “It is giving me a chance to show my full acting range. It’s an actor’s dream.”
The movie is expected to be released in 2014. The actor will make a number of notable appearances in film and television in the new year, including Single Mom’s Club, Addicted, Rio Sangre, and Salsa (starring opposite Jada Pinkett-Smith).
