Women in high heels, men in nicely presses shirts and people of all ages stormed the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Fla. on Saturday night as they all united for the same cause: To catch a glimpse of Romeo Santos Formula Vol. 2 Tour.
Long lines formed at concession stands and will call offices moments before the event of the night began.
In the midst of fans screaming out “Romeo! Romeo! Romeo!,” the lights dimmed at 9:30 p.m. and everyone’s date for the night appeared on stage.
And there he was, before a wave of hollering fans, tall, dark and handsome with his captivating dimpled-smile looking impeccable wearing a khaki leather jacket, black leather harem pants, white sneakers and dark sunglasses.
The first half of his show consisted of some of his new songs such as “Llevame Contigo” and “Cancioncitas de Amor.” He also sang some blast from the past including “Por un Segundo,” “Promise,” “La Diabla” and “Infieles.”
After singing “Mi Santa,” the 32-year-old left the stage as a demanding full-house screamed for more.
Santos, came back on stage and said: “I don’t have a video for the next song.” “I am going to film it tonight and this might be my next video…the official video for ‘Odio’,” he continued.
And with his latest song “Odio,” which features Drake, Santos began the second half of his show looking like royalty wearing all gold.
It was a night to reminiscing, as the half Dominican and half Puerto Rican singer crooned fans with a medley of Aventura songs, a gift for those who have followed his trajectory since the beginning.
He even took it way back with an all-time classic that boomed his career, singing the renowned 2002 Aventura song “Obsesion.”
But what made this night an enviable and enjoyable one was when he invited many fans on stage to sing with him, kiss him and even get naughty in bed with him. True story.
Needless to say, he took selfies throughout the whole show, which came to its end at nearly 1 a.m., after he finished off with his hit record “Propuesta Indecente.”
Miami was the singers’ seventh stop of his “Formula, Vol 2″ tour of the United States that kicked off May 22 in Los Angeles, reports Fox Latino.
The tour will come to an end on July 12 at the Yankee Stadium in Bronx, New York.
Don’t forget to catch him in concert, you won’t regret! And I must admit, that no one is more entertaining, interactive and engaging, as Romeo Santos.
